I was JUST crying tonight, yes crying (my PMS is out of control) to my husband how I feel like this summer was wasted. Yes, Monkey Man and I did lots of fun things together (and we had a family vacation) but I didn't write consistently for my blog which means that book is still sitting in my head instead of in front of a publisher, I didn't do any of my scrapbooks (not that I WANT to, I feel like I HAVE to), I didn't remodel anything that I wanted to, and blah, blah, blah. So I totally feel your pain. And school starts Tuesday, back to work, homework, lunches, and the insane hustle of the daily grind. So there's my grouchy comment. Happy Sunday Night!

I think this summer - if we could even call it summer - was like that for everyone. I feel like I was deprived of something, too... although I can't quite put my finger on it. I know the freaking heat had lots to do with it. But I, for one, am glad to Twitter with you now and then, and glad to see a post when you can get to it. Here's to the hope our autumns are much, much better! ♥

Glad to see you're still around. I too am suffering from the Sunday evening blues. And the stress of trying to make sure three children have their homework completed, forms signed, backpacks unloaded and reloaded, lunches packed, clothes picked out, planners checked and signed, and the list goes on and on. It makes my brain tired.

Wishing that summer was a little longer (and a little better...)

Wow, Tamara. I was thinking a similar thought last night (as I am running on only four hours of sleep a night for the past week.) What superhero's we women are(specifically moms). How we can orchestrate so many things--which usually enables us to make so many people feel pretty happy and special.
