I know it's late in the day...I was preoccupied for most of the day with home destruction--I mean, home IMPROVEMENT projects.
Anyway, here's a challenge to my loyal (and not-so-loyal) readers. I have a THING about the number 11. It's a long story, but suffice it to say that's a recurring theme in my life. I mean, just look--I have 11 followers! It's not many, but I like it, because it's ELEVEN. From there, it has to move to 22, and I'd say that's a pretty far leap, so I'll have to be satisfied with what I have.
Please notice, if you just now realized what day it is, like I did...that it's the 11th of June. Now, I have 11 followers, it' s June 11th...aside from finding 11 dollars in my pants pocket, or 11 roses blooming on my new rosebush, or 11 people that think I'm stunningly gorgeous, that the best thing I could ask for on this day of elevens is 11 comments. Now here's the catch--I want them to be from 11 different people. Some of you "lurkers" out there might have to step up to the plate and leave some words. Some of you loyal readers and commenters might have to tell people you know to come leave me some love. Whatever it takes, without ME telling anyone in real life to go post a comment.
Can we do it? It would make my day! (And you know what would be the icing on the cake? If we could do it by 11 p.m.---I might just pee my pants if the 11th comment is left at 11:11, so let's not push it.)
