Best Albums in my Lifetime

Okay, that was a lot harder than I thought it would be, and I still don't know if I'm completely happy with my results, but I'm finished. Some years there were MANY things to choose from, and other years there was nothing. It got especially hard after around 2000---I'll chalk that up to two different things: 1) I'm still listening to stuff from earlier decades, and 2) Today's music sucks, for the most part. I had trouble making decisions in some cases (I know, shocking), so I have a few ties, and I cheated a little by choosing compilations or greatest hits albums for a lot of them. So here's my list (James is still working on his):
