I was just remembering making homemade ice cream on Granny's front porch (now our own front porch) during the summertime in one of those old hand-churners. Peach is the flavor I remember most. Well, we don't have a hand-churner-thingamabobber, so homemade ice cream seemed out of the question--until I saw this recipe:
