Update

Just a quick update, because we need to get Andrew in bed soon so I can mindlessly watch the 2nd half of American Idol. I can't miss the funny ones when I so desperately need to laugh. We found out today that Edna's cancer has spread through her bloodstream and into her spine. She starts radiation tomorrow. It's not great news, of course, but we remain hopeful that if she can regain some strength, she can fight. Consider this a global request for positive mojo sent her way.

Thank you for the comment on my blog! I love hearing from OTHER TAMS! So when I came over to check out your blog I noticed SOMETIHNG...it said a Smalltown in Virginia! Virginia MY HOME! Yes MY HOME! I was just there in November due to my MOM being in the Hospital. I Heart Virginia! I grew up in Stafford just outside of Fredericksburg. Anyway I started reading your blog wondering what SMALL town you are in and I saw a Name of a PLACE I have eaten at. WOODS....OR Wood Buffet and Grill. I do not think there is more than one... I am not sure and it has been YEARS since I have been UP there eating..but I will only put the first TWO letters of the AREA I think you live in....CH ??? I heart CH...but not as much as I heart Fredericksburg! Anyway I will be back to finish catching up on your blog! Another Tam and she is from Virginia....too cool!!!

I am so sorry. Cancer is a hard thing to handle, in any form, for everyone involved. I will be praying.

Just came over to check on your blog. I know Cancer is hard on the entire family as we have been through it with memebers of my own family and you and your family are in my prayers!

Edna was my roommate at Tech for 3 wonderful years and I am saddened beyond belief at this dreadful news. Please let her know that I care and that I treasure the memories we made together at VPI. Ask her about the time we straightened her hair and hemmed her long skirts. I bet that will make her laugh! Please keep me posted at kacruise@aol.com. May God bless you and keep you.
